ENGLISH:   This year's awards ceremonies took place in the Teato Astral in Centro Habana, which presented a different environment than the ceremonies of recent years that were held in the Tropicana. The TV cameras were present, and several different stars took the stage to help present the awards to the various winners.   The ceremony included a number of excellent live musical performances - some of my favorites were by Grupo Vocal Sampling, Beatriz Marquez, David Blanco, Yumuri  and Qva Libre, and of course the closing performance by Dimension Latina from Venezuela, which also received a Premio of Honor this year.

ESPAÑOL: Las ceremonias de premiación de este año tuvieron lugar en el Teato Astral en Centro Habana, que presentaron un ambiente diferente de las ceremonias de los últimos años que tuvieron lugar en el Tropicana. Las cámaras de televisión estaban presentes, y varias estrellas diferentes tomaron el escenario para ayudar a presentar los premios a los varios ganadores. Las ceremonias incluyieron una serie de excelentes actuaciones musicales en vivo - algunos de mis favoritos fueron por Grupo Vocal Sampling, Beatriz Márquez, David Blanco, Yumuri y Qva Libre, y por supuesto la actuación de cierre de Dimension Latina de Venezuela, que también recibió un premio de Honre este año.
