Jiovanni Cofiño-Sánchez, bassist, arranger, and composer, was born in Cuba in 1977. He played with many bands in Cuba such as Banda Meteoro (1995) and Elito Revé Jr. y su Charangón (1998-2002) as musical director. He currently lives in the Las Vegas, NV and since 2008 has led his own orchestra - Jiovanni Cofiño & his Salsa Cuban Boys - performing in various casinos and entertainment industry events.

Currently, his group is the headliner of the only salsa night club in Las Vegas at the Gold Coast Casino, performing every Saturday night since 2009.
