Tom Ehrlich - John Santos Sextet
John Santos
The John Santos Sextet gave an afternoon concert - which combined an explanation of Afro-Caribbean music and the different instruments with a set of Afro-Caribbean jazz. The audience was predominantly children and their parents.
Alter to celebrate Dia de Los Muertos
John Santos' beuatiful wife Aida put together this alter at the edge of the stage. John explained the alter was to honor all those who have left us. He later found out who the photos on the alter were: from left to right John and Aida's daughter who tragically passed away shortly after she was born; John's brother who died at a young age; and Ron Stallings a local musician who died recently.
