La Charanga Habanera @ Fanguito

Patrick Bonnard reports from his visit to the filming of the Charanga Habanera video "La Miradera".

The Fanguito thing was a whole afternoon shooting from 4pm to 8.30pm. Emilio Lluveras shot the video. He's the cameraman who worked with Jennifer Paz on her DVD years ago he told me. They shot every musician playing in casa de Kiki and out in the street in front of the house they had also some shooting with Heikel in a red fancy car and the boys singing  and dancing.

Most of the musicians have changed their mobile phone number, and on that day I got up late, many of them were out in the street and all i could hear in my phone was: "el numero marcado no esta asignado a nigun abonado"... ;-) I was thinking it was a lost day for photography then I dared call THAT number, and David Calzado called me back immediatly and told me they had a gig at the end of the week. He allowed to come that very afternoon to Fanguito and it was fantastic!
