Cuba based rap duo, Zona Franka, blends traditional rhythms with the grit and swagger of hip-hop and rap vocal phrasings. Their clever shout choruses create instant tropical dance classics using their unique self-titled "changui con flow" style.

Work With Bamboleo

Alexander Abreu Chantes recorded one album with Bamboleo before leaving with his brother to form Sello LA. That album was none other than their inaugural edition “Te gusto o te caigo bien”. Abreu contributed some all around great bass work to this first album and in my opinion is was one of the most underrated bassists of this period of the genre.

Within this section are song-by-song examinations of Abreu’s work on this record. To navigate, simply click on the red arrow next to Work With Bamboleo in the Table of Contents and a list of songs will appear.
