Team Cuba conguero Alexis "Mipa" Cuesta played on all four of Manolín's Cuban studio CD's and is considered one of the most original and creative congueros in all of timba. When most of Manolín's band stayed in Miami after their 1999 tour, Mipa returned to Cuba, but later went on to Mexico, Texas and Miami and is now living in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he can be contacted at mipacongas@hotmail.com.
