Fans of Maykel Blanco y Salsa Mayor have probably heard about the new video clip for "Pa' cualquiera" the new mega-hit sung by Yordi Larrazaba. Unfortunately problems with the internet connection have prevented it from being uploaded to the Salsa Mayor hompage. Hopefully it will be up soon. If not, keep an eye on muchoswing.com. It may just show up there one of these days.

For the curious, after Pepitín's departure from the band his songs have been distributed among Yordi, Pavel and Yasser. I guess we'll soon see who is singing what because...I know that fans are eagerly awaiting the next tour and I'm happy to report that Los Mayores will be back in Europe for a spring tour in March/April 2010. Of course we will update their tours page as the confirmed dates become available so stay tuned...

We have updated the Los Van Van 2010 tours with a couple more dates: February 27, at Vega in Copenhagen, Denmark and March 28th in Madrid, Spain. The tour will begin in late February and go through the end of March. Keep checking the Tours section for more information as more dates are confirmed.

Juan Kemell y La Barriada performed here in Stockholm last Sunday as part of SELAM's African Festival. I took the opportunity to sit down with Juan Kemell before the show and talk about the tour, the last CD "Havananza" and the band's philosophy which is about simply making people happy.
