Negrón is a monster conguero with a vicious tumbao and extensive mastery of all aspects of Afro-cuban percussion, including batá and guaguancó. He was a member of Issac's first band with Samuel Formell and also the next incarnation with Giraldo Piloto. He later moved on to Irakere.
