Charanga Habanera US Tour Starts Friday!

David Calzado y su Charanga Habanera start their US tour in Miami on Friday May 20th with a concert at Twelve Club. I haven't seen them live since 2013 and there have been some changes since then such as Andy Fornet joining on timbales and the singer line-up is now Leisdel Gonzales Castillo, David Montes de Oca, Alexis David Zamora, Heikel Valdes and Chico de la Rosa. The tour will also take them to California, Washington State, Texas, New York and New Jersey. Click here to find a concert near you.

Siempre que llueve escampa

Maykel Blanco & Su Salsa Mayor have just released their new video for "Siempre que llueve escampa" - one of my favorite songs from the brilliant album "Que no me quiten la fe" . It is quite funny and the first time the band has done an animated video. Enjoy the video and get ready to catch the band live on their European tour, which begins in Rome on May 20th. Aisar & El Expresso de Cuba Havana Premier

Aisar Hernandez & El Expresso de Cuba will have their Havana debut tomorrow at 9:00pm in the Salón Juan Formell at El Sauce. The band performed previously this year in Varadero and has been busy with television and radio appearances, but this will be the first chance for the Havana audiences to see the band live. We at Timba.com are very excited to see what Aisar & El Expresso have in store for us. They recently signed an exclusive five-year contract with Bis Music, and we can expect their first CD, "lLlegó el Expresso", to drop soon. If you're in Havana don't miss this historic first concert.

Juan de Marcos and the Afro-Cuban all Stars kick their East Coast Tour off tonight at Landmark Theatre in Port Washington, New York. Juan de Marcos is known for working with the highest caliber musicians. This year's line-up featuresEmilio Suárez on lead vocals.
